As for issue 2, that one just requires you to manually install some specific updates which also isn't mentioned here. Install KB3172605 & Restart 7. joe My PC was stuck with this "checking for updates" problem and after searching the internet none of the fixes seemed to work for me and many of the recommended fixes I cannot believe this is legal.
