Have you confirmed your CPU/GPU is not throttling due to temps? But just because a new PC's speed may seem dazzling at first, that doesn't mean that it is necessarily working up to its full potential. Ready to replace this HP laptop which is less than 3 years old... Usually mine is either the System or Antimalware service that is highlighted as the most usage.
