I'm not impressed that something so simple like connecting to the internet should not work. If this solution doesn’t work, you can also try changing your power plan to High Performance. I assume you mean press the blue Youview button on the remote control when it is plugged in to the internet. The TV tuners and recording all works fine but like other people on this forum, it will not connect to the internet despite being a wired connection, despite my laptop working Navigate through the list and go to Wireless Adapter Settings > Power Saving Mode.
